Our Nursery Staff

All staff are experienced child carers and have been well trained to meet the needs of the children. Each staff member attends regular training courses to help them to maintain the high quality care that your child deserves.

Your child will have a designated member of staff who will be their key person and who will work closely with you, sharing your child's adventures and learning achievements to ensure that we are providing the best care for your child.

Staff carefully plan activities that help children to learn and develop within the Early Years Foundation Stage. Such experiences will be recorded in your child's develpoment record book. You are able to access your child's book at any time.

You will be encouraged to share your knowledge of your child's routines at home such as eating habits, sleep routines and if applicable, their stage of toilet training. All of these learning stages are important to us because they help us to incorporate your child's routines from home into nursery.

You will be given a home observation sheet from time to time, which we ask you to write about your child's favourite things to do at home. The observation will be used to plan for those favourite things for your child at nursery.

We have an onsite designated safeguarding officer as well as a special needs co-ordinator who can both offer help and support for children and families.

All meals and snacks are freshly prepared and cooked on-site.

We offer a fresh fruit platter for morning and afternoon snack, accompanied by a refreshing cup of milk or water. Lunch is a delicious home-made, 2 course, hot meal and a light tea of finger food is served late afternoon.

All our staff are CRB (Police) checked.
